OpTic make light work of mouz at ECS

OpTic made light work of mousesports at ECS Season 4 Finals, winning 16-4 on Mirage in their opening match of Group A.

In the battle of European mixtures, OpTic got off to a flying start on the CT side of Mirage, picking up an early 6-0 lead by winning the pistol as well as the first two gunrounds with relative ease.

MOUZ then got their first on the board, but as no-one survived, they quickly got reset as OpTic reached nine rounds, with the double AWP of Aleksi "⁠allu⁠" Jalli and Oscar "⁠mixwell⁠" Cañellas doing work in mid. The same situation occurred after Chris "⁠chrisJ⁠" de Jong's men grabbed their second; OpTic replied right back and grabbed a 12-3 half. 

OpTic get off to a great start in Cancun

With the second pistol round going their way too, there was little hope for a comeback. OpTic got up to 14-3 before MOUZ' desperate Deagle buy worked out, but it wasn't nearly enough as Adam "⁠friberg⁠" Friberg & co. got match point in the following round and closed out the match at 16-4.
